Re: Can I join Indian Navy with 8.2 CGPA in 10th being an 11th PCM student?
The best gateway to join Indian Navy at 10+2 level is through National Defence Academy/Naval Academy examination. NDA/NA exam is held two times every year for which candidates who have done 10+2 or appearing for board exams are applicable but as you are at present in standard 11th, you can apply next year for this exam.
In case of age limit, it is 16.5 to 19.5 years for candidates of all category. Those who are unmarried male candidates can only apply for exam. You will have to clear written test as well as Service Selection board in order to join Navy. Prepare well in case of Mathematics, Science, English and General Knowledge. |

You are not eligible to join Indian Navy after 10th.
The minimum required qualification to appear for NDA examination for recruitment in Air Force, Navy and Army is candidate must have passed 10+2 from recognised board and age must be between 16.5-19.5 years. So, you need to wait till 12th std to appear for examination, and after appearing and qualifying in examination become eligible for final recruitment. For more information about examination visit at www.upsc.gov.in. |

You can definitely join Indian Navy but after completion of your 12th board examination and not before that as it is the minimum educational qualification required in order to get admission in Indian Navy.
Therefore, I would suggest you to complete your 12th boards first and then think of Joining Indian Navy. |
