Can I study BSc(Information Technology) if pursuing 12th Commerce?
Dear Sir, I am studying in 12th now and I have opted for Commerce stream. I want to do BSc in Information Technology course after completing my 12th. So can I do BSc in Information Technology after my 12th? Please reply as soon as possible.

Yes, a Commerce student can pursue BSc IT , if only the student has taken mathematics in his/ her 12th standard.

The basic eligibility criteria on for pursuing BSc in Information Technology degree is qualifying 10 + 2 or equivalent Examination in science stream with Physics, Maths and Chemistry subjects studied and with a minimum of 50% marks secured in maths or in aggregate from a recognised Board of the country.

Commerce students are not eligible to pursue BSc in Information Technology.
Educational qualification- The candidate should have completed 10 + 2 with physics, chemistry and mathematics from a recognised board with at least 50% marks. |

You are not eligible to get admission in B.Sc IT course.
The eligibility to get admission in the course is that candidate must have passed 12th from a recognised board. Candidate must have passed 12th in science stream with PCM as main paper. So, you are not eligible for the admission in B.Sc IT course. |
