If a student fails in any of the subjects in SA1/half yearly of class 9, but passes all the subjects in SA2 or the finals, will he be promoted to class 10th?

If the candidate has been able to secure minimum passing marks in 9th grade in an average of both the examination, he/she will be eligible to be promoted, otherwise I am sorry to say that there is no option if you are unable to score minimum passing marks in average.

Yes, the Candidate will be promoted to class 10th because to promotion depends completely on SA 2 result of class 9th.

Some School considers conducting re-test for candidates who failed in the exams of SA 1 or SA2. In case the student fails in re-test, he has very few chances of promotion.

Yes definitely a candidate will be promoted in class 10th if he/she passes in all the subjects in class 9th Final examination.
Basically the promotion is based on the Final examination.
So, if a candidate fails in a subject in Half Yearly examination but passes in all subjects in Final Examination, he/she will definitely be promoted in class 10th.

A student passes in all four subjects and having additional and also passes in it but had failed in maths in class 9 will be promoted in next class 10

Sir, if someone fails in one subject in both SA1&2
and in SA2 by just 3 to 4 marks in class 9 but passes all the other subjects infact one subjects with more than 65% will he/she be passed/promoted??
