I have completed Certified Teacher(CT) training course in Odisha With 72% mark. I am a general male student. My date of birth is 24/05/1985. I want to become a teacher in Central School.Please guide me and tell me what are the eligibility criteria for becoming a teacher in central school?

To become a teacher in central school, you must have CTET score.

Minimum educational qualifications for becoming teacher for Classes I-V (Primary Stage) of CTET exam is Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) or Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education.

Minimum educational qualifications for becoming teacher for Elementary stage(For becoming teachers from class VI to VIII) is Graduation degree or appearing in final year of graduation degree.

Your age should be in between 18 to 40 years. Age relaxation is provided for reserved category candidates.

Yes you are eligible ,you need to be a minimum graduate in any discipline from a recognized university. You need to have scored at least 50% of marks in the graduation level. For PGT exam, the candidates should have a PG degree with around 50% of marks from recognized university or college. For attending both the exams, you need to have a B.Ed.

Eligibility criteria for Teachers post in Central School as given:::::::::::::>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

** You should have Four years’ integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with minimum 50% marks in aggregate or Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks in the concerned subjects/combination of subjects and in aggregate.

** You have to Pass Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), conducted by CBSE

** You must be Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium.

Central School Teacher Pay Scale:::::::>>>>>>>

** PGT(HINDI)

Pay band = 15600-39100
Pay in pay band= 19240


** PGT (ENGLISH)

Pay band = 9300-34800
Pay in pay band = 18520

For getting teaching job in central school you need to clear CTET which is conducted by CBSE every year for government teachers post in various central government schools.

Hence, if you want a government teaching job then be ready for CTET and try to clear it with excellent score. Once you have a decent score then you have to apply for job in those schools.

You need to have a B.Ed Degree to be eligible to become a Central School Teacher.
If you are having a B.Ed Degree you need to apply for the SSC Examination.
Once you crack the Examination there will be a Personal Interview and then you will be given appointment to a Central School based on the vacancies that are there.
So you need to prepare for the SSC Examination as it is the only way of becoming a Central School Teacher.
This is the process to become a Central School Teacher.

I'm not eligible for applying Bed entrance in odisha as I did not have any 10th standard odia certificate.so please tell me where and how can I will be able to apply for Bed entrance exam to become a central school teacher in odisha only.

Sir I studied BCOM in Andhra university and also done MCom now i am studying Bed then I want to teach mathematics for higher classes in Central school like kvs and nvs

After completion of B.Ed. you will be eligible to teach mathematics for higher classes in Central school but before that, you have to Pass Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), conducted by CBSE.
