How to change board from IGSCE to ICSE due to high fees?


Hi My cousins wants to change board from IGSCE to ICSE from next academic year as school is charging more fees now and also coaching fees are also high. He is in 8th std now, will it be advisable to change board now.

pls reply asap...

Yes, he is can change the board after std 8th. Candidates are not eligible to change the board in std 9th.

The procedure is simple as you have to submit the required documents such as marksheet, transfer certificate, character certificate etc to submit in the one in which you want to get the admission.

In my opinion, you should change the school instead of changing the board. Private school fees are not controlled by the government, it is the school that decides its fee. Different schools have different fee structures. Find a suitable school that is affiliated with the same board. Changing of school's procedure is very simple and doesn't require much effort.

The IGCSE educational board is a universally accepted mode of pedagogy that that is growing in India.
The IGCSE board is good for overall growth of student.
If you feel that the fees is too high , then you can change the board after class 8th, so that the student gets used too of the pattern of exam for class 10th.
And boards registration is also done in class 9th itself.
So it's better option to change it after class 8th.
