Change is possible only if there is genuine reason.
According to rules , any student from any board can get admission in other board depending upon circumstances.
And it totally depends on the principal of school whether she allows such transfer or not .
As it involves lots of paper work which becomes difficult at the end times.

According to rules, any student from any board can get admission in other board depending upon circumstances. You will need to submit your parents documents (in order to prove their transfer)along with your registration number of ICSE and class 9th pass certificate.
But , still it depends upon school principal, because allowing a student to get admitted in class 10th is completely based on their discretion.

It is not possible to shift 9th from ICSE Board to 10th in CBSE Board. Students get registered for their 10th board examination in 9th standard itself. Therefore, it is not possible to shift from ICSE Board to CBSE Board for 10th admission. The ICSE Board is also one of the best boards in India.

It is not possible to get admission in CBSE affiliated school in std 10th without having passed 9th from CBSE board.

It is mandatory to get registered in CBSE board in std 9th and then only you are eligible to pursue std 10th with the board.

The other available option is to take admission in std 9th in CBSE if interested in pursuing with CBSE board.

It is not possible to change the board in class 10th, once you have completed your class 9th with ICSE board.
Under rules, you have to pass both 9th and 10th with same board.
