How many questions will be there in NTSE? What is the passmarks in NTSE?

NTSE is conducted in two stage and 1st stage consists of 200 questions and second stage Also, consists of 200 questions.

* Passing marks for category as follows

General/OBC -40%
Sc/st - 35%.

* NTSE exam is not easy as it is considered the most difficult scholarship exam. but through consistent practice and hard you can clear the exam.

The National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is conducted in two stages, and the number of questions and pass marks for each stage is as follows:

Stage 1:

Mental Ability Test (MAT): 100 questions
Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT): 100 questions (Science - 40, Mathematics - 20, Social Science - 40)
The total number of questions in Stage 1 of the NTSE exam is 200.

The qualifying marks for Stage 1 of the NTSE exam vary from state to state and from year to year. The official answer key and cut-off marks are released by the respective State Education Boards. Candidates who score above the cut-off marks are eligible to appear for Stage 2 of the exam.

Stage 2:

Mental Ability Test (MAT): 100 questions
Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT): 100 questions (Science - 40, Mathematics - 20, Social Science - 40)
The total number of questions in Stage 2 of the NTSE exam is 200.

The qualifying marks for Stage 2 of the NTSE exam are decided by NCERT, which conducts the exam at the national level. Candidates who score equal to or more than the cut-off marks decided by NCERT are eligible for the NTSE scholarship.

There are 100 questions in each paper in NTSE.
Duration of exam is 120 minutes.

The passmark for General Category is 40% and for SC/ST 35%.

Stage 2 exam:-

Number of questions and the pass marks for Stage 2 can also vary. The exam is typically more competitive at this stage.
