I did 12th class in non-medical stream recently and now I want to do B.Sc honors in physics from Jaipur. So, I want to ask you how much percentage need minimum from 12th class?

In order to do B.Sc honors from Jaipur you need to have more than 60% in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. As you are from a non-science background then I would recommend you to continue on the field or stream which you are currently as you will get wide range of job opportunity.

To get admission for pursuing B.Sc. Honours course, you should have passed your 12th standard with minimum aggregate of 60% marks from a recognised board. Admissions in B.Sc. Honours course are done through merit basis of 12th standard board examination marks or through entrance examination conducted by the respective college/ university.

Look, if you want to pursue B.Sc honors in physics then you must have secured at least 55 marks in physics and must be passed 12th with minimum 55 percent aggregate.

In order to get admission for B.Sc physics honors you should have completed your 12th standard in science stream with minimum 50% marks from a recognized board. Some colleges require 60% and more marks in board examination.

Now you have to choose a college in which you want to get admission. You may have to appear for a written examination in order to get a seat in that college. Some colleges also provides admission on the basis of marks secured in 12th examination.

To get admission in good colleges for pursuing B.Sc Honors you need to have at least 55% and above marks in your 12th standard from a recognized board.
However if you want to get admission in top colleges for pursuing the aforesaid course then 70% marks in higher secondary examination from a recognized board is preferable, also your will have to appear for entrance examination for the same.

Marks required in Class XII to get admission in B.Sc Honors Physics are a minimum of 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. But, the marks needed are different in each college/university. Some prestigious colleges required over 95% marks for taking admission to B.Sc Honors Physics degree. Some colleges admit students with 60% marks. Therefore, students with 60% marks in PCM are eligible to apply for B.Sc Honors Physics course. Some colleges required more marks and some less marks for the admission to the B.Sc Honors course.

B.Sc. (Hons.) Physics or Bachelor of Science Honours in Physics is an undergraduate Physics course. The duration of Bachelor of Science Honours in Physics course is three years.

Eligibility criteria for Bachelor of Science Honours in Physics.

1. For Bachelor of Science Honours in Physics course, candidate should have passed 12th class in science stream from a recognized board of Education.

2. The minimum percentage required in 12th class for Bachelor of Science Honours in Physics course is 50 or 60% depending upon type of College.

It depends upon the institute and their admission criteria as it never remains the same in all institutes have different eligibility criteria.

However, you should try to score a minimum of 60% in aggregate in order to be eligible to apply in most of the institutes as it is the minimum eligibility criteria in most institutes.

For taking admission in b.sci honors in physics a candidate must have 12th passed with physics, chemistry and maths as the main subject. A candidate must have minimum 60% marks in class 12th. Mainly, the percentage criteria for taking admission is differ from school to school because every school has different criteria for admission.
For taking admission you have to fill application form. You have entrance exam or your admission is done on the basis of your percentage. In good colleges your percentage matters. Mainly, nowdays all colleges take admission on the basis of entrance exam.If you will get good rank then you will get admission easily.
