After completion of 12th standard with PCM, you are eligible for railway exam through SCRA.

SCRA stands for Special Class Railway Apprentices.

Those candidates who have completed 12th examination with physics, chemistry and mathematics as compulsory subjects from a recognized school or equivalent qualification and candidates who have doing final year of 12th examination are eligible for SCRA examination.

Those who have completed Bachelor's degree with Physics and Mathematics from a recognized university are eligible for SCRA examination.

Your age should be in between 17 to 21 years.

After completing +2 you can apply for SCRA exam to join in railways. The eligibility needed are:

• Nationality
• Age limit
• Educational Qualification

# The nationality standard states candidate should be a citizen of India

# Age limit needed is 17-21 years for general category and there are relaxation for other category candidates.

# For SC/ST candidates it is 17-26 years and for OBC it is 17-24 years.

# The educational qualification needed is candidate should have completed +2 or Diploma from a recognized school board of education with physics, chemistry and mathematics as subjects.

If you satisfy all these criteria then you can apply for the SCRA Exam.

Selection Procedure:

1. Written Examination
2. Interview/Personality Test
3. Document Verification

Written Examination consists of 3 papers with Objective Type (multiple choice answer) questions and duration for each paper is 2 hours and maximum marks for General Ability test 200, Physical Science 200, Mathematics 200 with a total of 600 marks.

The RRB is the recruitment agency which conducts various exams for the vacancies in Indian Railway.
RRB is going to release large no. of vacancies this year due to the vacant posts in department and pressure of the unemployment.
The candidates who cleared 10th standard with ITI in any trade or diploma engineer are eligible for the RRB railway recruitment.
You can apply for the following posts in Indian Railway:
RRB NTPC
RRB Junior Engineer
RRB Assistant Loco Pilot
RRB Group D Posts
