According to the Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE)*guidelines, students must be between the ages of 13 to 14 years to be admitted to class 9 in CBSE schools.

If the student meets the above criteria, then the student is eligible for admission to class 9 in CBSC schools.

In CBSE board, in class 9 the age can be 14 to 15 years and in class 10 the age can be 15 to 16 years. there is no upper limit of age to appear in the exam.

According to Cbse board for admission in class 9th , the age must be between 14 to 15 years .
It can also be the last year of junior high school .
The typical age of US 9th grade students is 14 to 15 years.
