Question pattern and duration of NTSE Stage-I?


Hello
I want to know what is the time duration
for NTSE level 1 exam? and also
tell me the question pattern immediately

NTSE:-
Candidates, who are appearing for 10th class are only eligible to appear for NTSE exam. This exam is conducted in two stages.

STAGE-I:-
This stage is divided into two parts
1)Mental ability test
It includes 50 questions and the allotted time is 45 minutes.

2)Scholastic Aptitude Test, which Includes
i)Language Test: 50 Questions(45 minutes)
ii)Mathematics: 30 marks, Science: 35 marks & Social Sciences: 35 marks[100 Questions(90 minutes)]

STAGE-II:-
The Stage-II of the test is divided into two parts
1)Mental ability test
2)Scholastic Aptitude Test, which covers Maths, Science and Social studies

Candidates, who can clear these two stages are only eligible to get scholarships. You can download the application form from the following link.www.ncert.nic.in

NTSE (National Talent Search Examination) Question Exam Pattern:

NTSE Stage I Examination is basically conducted in two stages, the first stage is called MAT test (Mental Ability Test) and the Second is called SAT Test (Scholastic Aptitude Test).

NTSE Stage I Exam Question Paper Pattern:

A) MAT Test:
Number of Questions - 50 Questions
Number of Marks - 50 Marks
Duration of NTSE Stage I MAT Exam: 45 Minutes

B) SAT Test:
Number of Questions - 50 Questions
Number of Marks - 50 Marks
Duration of NTSE Stage I SAT Exam: 45 Minutes

NTSE (National Talent Search Examination) has two stage:

Stage 1: State level Examination.
Stage 2 : National level Examination.

Below i have mentioned the NTSE Exam Pattern along with duration of Exams.

Stage 1 Examination are conducted in two parts:

1. Part 1: Mental Ability Test (MAT): 50 Question of 50 Marks in 45 minutes

2. Part 2: Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) comprises of-

a. Language Test: 50 Question of 50 Marks in 45 minutes

b. Mathematics: 30 marks, Science: 35 marks & Social Sciences: 35 marks
Total 100 Questions of 100 marks in 90 minutes.

Note: 1. Each question will be of one mark.

2. All the question will be of objective type i.e., MCQ.

3. Students who get qualified in the first Stage are then shortlisted for the Stage 2.

4. And those qualify Stage 2 will face an interview with NTSE Board and finally 1000 meritorious students are selected every year all over India.

NTSE stands for National Talent Search Examination. NTSE examination is conducted in two stages as Stage-I and Stage-II. The Stage-I examination is conducted by respective states/ union territories and the Stage-II examination is conducted by NCERT throughout India. Candidates who are studying in X standard from any recognised school are eligible to appear in NTSE Stage-I examination and candidates who have selected in NTSE Stage-I examination are eligible to appear in NTSE Stage-II examination.

NTSE Stage-I Examination Pattern :-
NTSE Stage-I examination has two parts as mentioned below :-
--> Part I :- Mental Ability Test (MAT) :- 50 Questions for 50 Marks, Time 45 Minutes
--> Part II :- Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) comprises of
Language Test: 50 Questions of 50 Marks with a duration of 45 minutes
Mathematics: 30 marks, Science : 35 marks & Social Sciences : 35 marks
Total 100 questions for 100 marks with a duration of 90 minutes
