I was a student of KV BHEL Ranipur Hardwar from 27.06.1996 to March 2003. I passed 10th from CBSE New Delhi in 2003 but my DOB IN 10TH certificate is entered incorrectly as 17.06.1987. My correct DOB IS 17.06.1987 which is entered in all school records as per my birth certificate and School TC issued by the KV. Please arrange to correct my DOB in my 10th certificate.

Sorry to say that no correction can be made in the Date of Birth that has already been entered on your 10th pass certificate. You must have taken utmost care while giving the details of self in the form filling up time of 10th exam. those details are only kept and entered by the Board and it becomes a valid proof of your Date of Birth afterwards.

No other records are checked once your Date of Birth on 10th certificate is written that is considered as final. Anyways, I do not understand what is the mistake here.

You have mentioned that the school records has your date of Birth as 17th june 1987 (17.06.1987) which is correct Date of birth according to you but you have even mentioned that the Date mentioned as Date of Birth on the CBSE tenth pass certificate is again 17th june 1987 (17.06.1987)which is incorrect? What is the mistake? Both the dates are the same right? please recheck. Anyway if there is some mistake also it cannot be changed.

The Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi do not entertain such requests.You have to adjust with that Date of Birth only which has been printed on your Xth pass certificate issued by CBSE.

In my maharashtra ssc marksheet dob is 04-06-1989 which is wrong and in my village birth certifacete it is 04-06-1992 so what is the procedure to make correction...?

No worries you can change your DOB in your matriculation memo ...
follow these steps:
Go to your school kendriya vidyalaya they will give you acknowledgement by stating that you are the student of kv and unmistakingly your date of birth has been written wrong by the school authority.
collect the acknowledgment/slip and
Go to the board of cbse
Then the cbse board will do its inspection/verification and if you found correct ,they will issue you another memo ..
So dont worry be happy....

I am a little bit confused. What is to be corrected. Already your date of birth stands corrected. How can you change the corrected date? You said that the correct date of birth is 17.06.1987. Then again you say that the date of birth entered in the certificate of class 10 is 17.06.1987. Then why bother about it?
But if the case is that your correct date of birth is 17.06.1987. But the date entered in the certificate of class 10 is something otherwise, then you have no other way that to apply to your school. You have to meet your principal in person and explain the problem to him. Then if possible write the application in front of him and make the necessary corrections. Submit the photocopy of your class 10 admit card and certificate. Submit the proof of your date of birth also. Then you have to just wait until it is corrected.

I want to correct my dob on tenth certificate. If my school provides in written about correction of dob...then can it be done? How long will all the procedure take, if possible?
