Civil Services examination is held by UPSC once every year for recruitment of administrative officers like IAS, IFS, IPS, IRS, etc. .
Further, the minimum education required for appearing in the Civil Services examination is a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Stream or subject combination opted at any level of academics does not matter to decide the eligibility for appearing in the Civil Services examination. So, even if you opt for Gujarati subject as your language option in Class 12th then also you can appear in the Civil Services examination once you complete your graduation degree course.
