Hi Sir, I am preparing for the Board exam of 12th standard with Assam Board. I am a Science student and I want to do an MBBS course. I have heard that Assam Board students face difficulties while getting admission for an MBBS course. Is it true?

There is no difficulty in securing an MBBS admission for an Assam Board student.

If you take admission in Assam state you will get home state reservation.

You have to appear in NEET examination that is conducted overall India.
This exam can be given after passing 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Biology from a recognized Institute.

NTA conducts NEET every year for admission in MBBS and other medical courses.

The eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed or pursuing 12th with PCB as main paper with minimum 50% aggregate.

The minimum age limit is 17 years. Candidates after qualifying in the examination are eligible for admission in the MBBS course.

Candidates pursuing or passed 12th from a recognised board with PCB minimum 50% are eligible to appear for NTA NEET.

So, you can prepare for the examination and after qualifying in examination are eligible for admission in MBBS course.
