I am seeking admission for my elder son in 11th class under ICSE board. So i want to know about the admission criteria for class 11th students there?

Nothing much is to be done, you just need to contact the prospective school or university first where you wish to get admission and then after filling up the application form you will have to submit all the required documents along with it.

However, in many schools admission is only provided on the basis of marks scored in 10th board but in some of premium schools admission is provided on the basis of examination, therefore in those cases you will have to clear the examination and then get admission.

Admission Criteria is as follows:

A candidate must have done 10th from recognized board with at least 50 % marks.

You need these certificates:

Character Certificate
Academic Certificate
Transfer Certificate
Migration certificate etc.

There is no such admission criteria mentioned by ICSE board for admission in 11th standard. The admission criteria depends on the concerned school in which you want your son to seek admission. The admission is usually done on the basis of the result in 10th standard. The main eligibility criteria for ICSE board is, you must have 10th class passing certificate from any recognized board other criteria depends on school to school. Some of schools provides admission on the behalf of 10th class marks.
