My daughter born in 10.9.2006. Now she is in VII in state board. But they are asking us to put him in the same class next year too. They are not giving admission for VIII in CBSE. They are telling to avoid problems in 10 CBSE board exams. At the time of writing the CBSE board exam she will be completed 14 years 6 months and 21 days as on March 31. Can anybody please kindly guide us what is the correct age for 10 CBSE board exams. Is there is any problem during her 10 CBSE board exams.

The minimum age limit of class 10th exam should be 14+ to 15 years of age as on 31st March of the respective year.

As far as you are concerned about the minimum age required for appearing in the Class 10th of a CBSE School, then I would like to let you know that Board has not fixed any minimum/maximum age to appear in Class-10th board examination however; at the time of admission the student should satisfy the requirements of age limits (minimum & maximum) as determined by the State/U.T. Government and applicable to the place where the School is located.
