What must be the age of NCC Officer in any school?

Be good physical and mental health( free from any physical handicapped).

Should bear a good character. No discipline/vigilance case is contemplated/pending against the candidate.

Should not be a member of any communal or political organization or organization believing in violence/disharmony.

Both male & female candidates should not be below 21 years of age or above 45 years of age as on the last date of receipt of applications(Exception is given for the overaged (up to 48 years of age)individual who desires to join NCC as ANO on approval of DG NCC)

Should be a Caretaker of the NCC in place of existing vacancy of the ANO of the educational institution.

IIth (8th standard) students (Boys & Girls) of State & Central school for Junior Division(Boys) & Junior Wing(Girls) for two years, ie, VIII to IX (8th to ninth standard).
XIth (+1) students can join NCC as Junior Division(Boys) & Junior Wing(Girls)
Medically fit, excellent in extracurricular activities, can voluntarily join NCC on Associate NCC officers’ recommendations & approval of Head of the NCC Battalion located to the School during enrollment in the month of June every year
The NCC Certificate examination of “A” & “B” conduct under NCC Battalion level and “C” certificate at Directorate level(state level)

The eligible students can join NCC as Senior Division(Boys) & Senior Wing (Girls) for three years during graduation level irrespective of subjects.

All those beginners will appear for the “B.” certificate examination and “C” certificate at the end of the final year of graduation.

Enrollment and Retirement age :

- Eligible candidates should be minimum of over 21 years old.

- He/she should be under 42 years of age. Age can be extended up to 45 years.

- The retirement age is 56 years.

In the case of an appointment to the Senior Division of the Corps,he has attained the age of 21 years and has not attained the age of 32 years. In the case of an appointment to the Junior Division of the Corps,he has attained the age of 21 years and has not attained the age of 32 years.

He/she has attained the age of 21 years and has not attained the age of 32 years. In the case of an appointment to the Junior Division of the Corps, he/she has attained the age of 21 years and has not attained the age of 32 years.

The age of NCC Officer in any school is given below:-

The minimum age limit would be 19 years and maximum age limit would be 25 years and relaxation is given in the operation limit to reserved category candidates.
The candidate must be a citizen of India.
The candidate should have passed graduation degree from a recognised university or any equivalent qualification with the aggregate of minimum 50% marks.
