Whether a 7 year old kid eligible to study in 2nd standard of ICSE?
Hi Everyone,
I want my child to get admitted in 2nd standard for this academic in ICSE syllabus. Her age is 7 years old. Is she eligible or not? |

Yes, 7 years old candidate is eligible to study in 2nd standard of ICSE board.
Age limit to get admission in 2nd standard of ICSE Board is from 6 years to 8 years. |

Yes, your child is eligible to get admission in second standard of ICSE Board school. The minimum age required to get admission in second standard is 6 years 6 months. Since, your child has attained the age of 7 years, you can join him in second standard in ICSE Board school.

For admission in second standard your son should be pass in 1st standard from a recognized school. Age is not a matter if it is 7 years. Most schools will allow a 7 year old in class 2.
Hence, no need to worry if your child is pass in class 1st. Just approach the school authority for admission. |

Age Criteria Required for ICSE 2nd Class Admission:
Generally there is no age limit for candidates taking the admission in Indian Certificate of Secondary Education Examination. But according to the minimum age criteria, the minimum age criteria required for getting admission into 2nd Class of ICSE board school is 6 years. As she crossed the minimum age required for getting admission in 2nd Class, I am sure she is eligible to get admission in 2nd Class. |
