Hello friends, my son is 8 years old right now. Will he get the admission in 3rd standard under CBSE pattern of education? At this age he is eligible or not for securing admission in 3rd standard? It may cause any age problem in 10th standard?

As per the CBSE guideline, child must be of 5 years as on the academic year for getting admission in class 1.
So accordingly, the required age for getting admission in class 3rd is 7 years.

Hence, your child is eligible to give class 8th exam being 8 years old.

---The minimum age requirement to get admission in the standard of 3rd is 7 years at on 31st March.

--As per the lates information receive from the CBSE board,maximum age required is 9 years .

--So as per the rule,your child is eligible to get admission in 3rd standard
