Why it is compulsory for child that he would pass 9 and 10 in same school? because cbse will not give the permission to take admission in another school in 9 class then circumstances be any thing education is for child child is not for the education so that is why some school spoil the future of students for their showing good result and students will go to the depression for such a wrong rule of cbse ki 9 and 10 class will be done in same school because student has registered in cbse board this rule to be prohibited for the save life of students

Because it is not necessary though, but it is preferable to do 9th and 10th from same school. And there are many things that are specific to that school.
They sometime carry the course as they want i.e. as we all know 10th class is usually board.
So many schools cover some of the 10th course in 9th to lessen the burden which student might feel if they exposed to that much course at once, that's why it is preferable to to 9th and 10th from same school.

Reason is simple school want each student to score good marks in 10th grade.

If anyone could not perform good in 9th grade than they won't promote that student in 10th class.

They don't know the exact condition of new student that means how particular student clear previous academic that's why they don't give admission in 10th class directly.

Yes, it is necessary to do class 9th and 10th from the same school since registration of the board examination occurs in class 9th and class 11th and the students who wish to change the schools in class 9th or 11th will now have to substantiate reasons for it. CBSE has taken the admission process in class 9th and 11th directly into its hands from the academic year 2020, the schools will no longer enjoy autonomy in this matter.

If the student is seeking change in school due to a change in the business of parents, then the old and new business address and bank records will have to CBSE as validation. A copy of the attested appointment letter by the organization will be required in case of a change of parent's job. If the student is residing with a relative in the new city then identity proof of relative and their details will be needed.

In case of changing school for better education, the students/parents will have to give a record of the past five years of the previous and the new school they wish to seek admission. The students from unaffiliated schools will not be allowed to take admission in these classes.
