Eligibility requirements to join diploma in civil engineering vary with polytechnic. Most of the institutes prefer candidates with high academic score. In most cases, the cut off percentage required is 60. Admissions are done on the basis of 10th/12th class marks or entrance test. Orissa Govt, kalinga polytechnic, etc conducts entrance test for selection process.
