MCA degree is sufficient to become an Army Officer?


Currently m doing mca(master in computer application) & m a girl. i wnt to become an lady army officer. Is my degree is sufficient to become an officer?? rply soon as possible

Yes of course, you are absolutely eligible to apply for Army Officer after completing MCA course. You can apply for Indian Army through NCC Special Entry Examination. NCC Special Entry Examination is conducted by Indian Army twice in a year. Both the Male and female candidates are eligible to apply for this examination. To apply for this examination the candidate must have a completed bachelor's degree with any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent qualification. Any stream candidates can apply for this examination.

The candidate must secure at least 55% Marks in graduation and 50% Marks for reserved categories. Candidate who are appearing in the final year of degree with 55% Marks may also eligible to apply for this examination. Even post graduate degree candidates may also eligible to apply for this examination. The candidate age should between 19 years to 25 years at the time of appearing for this examination. The candidate must be physically and mentally fit while appearing for this examination. Minimum acceptable height is 152.5 cms.
