am doing my mtech cse 2nd year wana do phd in AI and robotics what is the eligibility criteria for joing in phd technology.....can i directly apply to respective departments?since am not science student?

For admission in Ph.D at IISc you have to appear for entrance exam and interview conducted by the concerned institute. If you have qualified exams like GATE/NET/SET/JRF/DBT/ICMR, then you will be exempted from entrance exam stage. There will be only interview stage for such candidates.

Hence, you need to apply on a prescribed format, when there is an admission notification. Also, you should be well prepared for the interview stage because top candidates aim for admission in IISc from all over India.
