Para commando is a special commando force who deals with the personnel recovery, special reconnaissance, direct action, counter proliferation, counter terrorist, hostage rescue and many more.

To become a para commando you need to follow the below mentioned procedure:

- You need to be a part in Indian army as soldier or in any field.
- You need to take 3 - 6 months training courses given for the para commando's. In this course you'll be given training mentally, physically and psychologically.
- After completing the course you'll be conducted a test.
- If you clear the test and if you are fit for that post then you'll be joined as para commando.
