Can u please tell me the procedure for mtech(ece) and about registration form 2015 for same? Is the GATE score compulsory for that?

GATE stands for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. Yes, if you want to pursue master's degree in technology from top engineering institutions of India like IITs, NITs, and other government engineering colleges, you must appear for the GATE exam.

There are some colleges and private institutes which offer admission in M.Tech without GATE score also but there is advantage of pursuing M.Tech from such colleges.

So it would be better for you to appear for the GATE exam and clear it with good rank for M.Tech course. One other advantage is that you will receive stipend while pursuing master of technology course. If your rank is below , you may receive a call from any of PSUs for jobs also.

Gate is not compulsory to get the The admission in M.tech course.But it is good to appear in the Gate entrance test for getting the admission in good and reputed engineering colleges.

M.tech is a master degree program of two years duration. the basic eligibility criteria for this course is to have a bachelor degree of four years duration in engineering sector with good percentile.
