i have recently given my b.a final year exams from college under Punjabi university Patiala .now i want to do m.a history .how can i get admission in Punjabi University Patiala or Punjab University Chandigarh ?if i have to give any entrance test ?or something else?

pls send me a previous question papers of m.a history first year 2nd samaster my subject is agarian economy of anciant india upto 1200 A.D, punjab in 18th century,modern world in 15 to 19 century,world in 20th century.

Yes, you can get admission in M.A (Masters of Arts) history in Punjab university. To get admission you need to follow the below mentioned procedure.

Punjab university has different type of courses. There is an entrance exam for the post graduation course called CET. The candidate who wanted admission in their desired course then they need to clear the entrance test. The eligibility and application process and last date details are mentioned below.

Eligibility criteria:
- The candidate should complete their graduation with minimum 55% for general category, 50% for SC/ ST/ OBC category from any recognised university.
- Failed candidate are not eligible for applying CET exam.

Application process:
- The candidate need to visit the official website, register and fill the details.
- Take print out of the bank slip then pay the fees through bank slip.
- In general the application date is given in the 1st week of May and the last date will be in the 2nd week of June.
- The exam will in the 1st week of July and the results will be out in the last week of July.

Paper pattern:
- The duration of the exam is 1 hour 30 minutes.
- The paper pattern is written format.
- There 3 types of questions you need to attempt each question from these 3 sections.
1. Question no 1 which contains 8 concept related questions which contains 5 marks each. For this questions you need to write the answer at least 80-100 words.
2. Question no 2 which contains BA subjects, history of Punjab, general history.
For this question you need to write 1000 words which has 25 marks each.
3. Question no 3 contains current affairs, significant contemporary social themes, communication skills, for this question you need to write 1000 words and which contains 25 marks each.
