Can I do M.A in any subject without taking honours subject in B.A from North Bengal University?If i do then please tell me in which subject.But i want to study in regular course not distance education.

The eligibility Criteria for M.A Degree course differs from university to university. We can't say that you are eligible for all specialization in MA course. Some MA degree specialization required to study the same subject or specialization at Graduation level. The M.A specializations like, Economics, Mathematics, Geography, etc. However, being a B.A General student, you can apply for the general specializations like,

- M.A Sociology
- M.A Political Science
- M.A General
- M.A Psychology
- M.A English

If you have completed B. A General from a recognized university, then definitely you can do any M.A degree through regular mode. Graduation is the minimum educational required to apply for M.A degree. However, the minimum marks required for M.A differs from university to university. You need to score at least 50% at graduation to get admission in M.A course. The admission to the course is based on the marks obtained in Graduation and the entrance exam conducted by the concerned university.
