How much score is required in GATE to get admission?

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering and is infact an entrance exam for getting entry in M.Tech courses in different colleges .It is conducted every year and cut-off also changes every year .

• For getting admission in Nirmala Institute of Technology the criteria is just pass the M.Tech entrance exam that is GATE EXAM.
  
• Generally for getting average colleges ,you need to secure 25 marks and for getting NITs you need to secure more than 60.

CUT-OFF SCORES FROM VARIOUS INSTITUTIONS
Each institute has its own cut off percentage in the GATE score. We are trying to get information regarding
the history of cut-off scores from all institutions. We will be putting in that information as soon as it comes
available. For now, here is the information we have gathered so far.

Typical cut-off scores:
Above 96 Percentile: IITs., IISC
Between 85-96 Percentile: NITs (previously called as RECs)
Less than 85 perentile: Other institutes

You need to get above 600 score to get mtech admissions in gud clzs through gate.

you should get more than 600 score in gate to get mtech admissions in good institutes like iits,nits,ism,other gud universities.

getting admission in M.tech you have to score in Gate exam last year cutof marks was
25 for general

if you want to admission in iit then you have to score above 96%
for nit above 92%

Gate score vary from college to college in which you want to take your admission.
You did not mentioned your stream.Even cut off marks varies for different stream.

Last year the cut off marks for CSE was 25.
Last year the cut off marks for ME was 31.

So,my dear friend you can see how much this vary.

I'm giving you a list of different type of college :

1.For IIT you must score above 70.
2.For Jadavpur,shibpur you must score above 50-55.
3.And for average colleges i think 35 to 45 marks is enough.

So start preparation for GATE.

i have got 17.67 (cs stream OBC) in gate 2012 and my gate score is 121. Is there any chance for me to get in any college

actually for all different streams there are different qualifying marks for gate..
as you have asked for computer science for general category the minimum marks to be odtained is 25,for sc/st 16.67..
