I am interested to do Ph.D(computer science) as part time,pls specify the procedure for applying it and also say about the part time Phd colleges in chennai.? What should be the procedure which I need to follow up to ensure that I will get the course admission?

Yes, the aspirant can do PhD in part time in Chennai through Madras University. The eligibility to do PhD programme is a pass in Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with a minimum of 55% marks. The aspirant has to contact the university concerned department for the admission. You have to prepare the brief presentation of your research topic. You can apply to the PhD programme by obtaining the application form from the university. You have to appear for an entrance examination and interview for the admission to the PhD.
