AMIE is useful for those who are already doing a job in engineering sector. They can use this course to increase their qualification to degree level if they are diploma holder.

If you are not doing any job then it will be better to opt for B.Tech which will be a regular course. Hence, make your choice based on your interest.

As per my knowledge, all courses from AMIE and B.Tech are best. It depends on you for which one you go.

These all courses belong from the Engineering field.

If you want to do B.Tech, you can do from any Engineering College.

You can apply for B.Tech at IIT. If you will select for IIT, your career will grow.

However, If you want to do AMIE, the AMIE Program is some difficult to B.Tech. So you have to give more time to study for AMIE.

You can do AMIE in following streams :

** ECE
** EE
** CSE
** CE
** ME
** Chemical Engineering
** Mining Engineering
** Production Engineering
** Textile Engineering
** Architectural Engineering

Scope of AMIE :

** You can become a graduate engineer, studying at your spare time
** Get same qualification as B.E/B.Tech
** It is Recognised by Government as well as Private sector , therefore you can apply for Government jobs too
** One can Try GATE/M.Tech/Better job after AMIE

So in nutshell you can say that AMIE course is really helpful in comparison to B.tech.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
