Is it necessary to be a resident of Tamil Nadu to study B.Tech in Anna University?


Hello Everyone,
Is it necessary to be a Resident of Tamil Nadu for admission into Anna University for B.Tech course? Kindly tell me about this immediately.

No, it is not necessary to be resident of Tamil Nadu to study B.Tech. in Anna university.

Eligibility to apply for B.Tech. in Anna University :
  • Candidate must have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from any recognised board.
  • Candidate must have secured more than 60% marks in 12th.
  • Age of candidate must be from 17 to 21 years.
