How to qualify in IIST and what are the qualifications to become an astronaut and tell me about the nasa's programme in which nasa chooses ten people from all over the world for three year training.

IIST stands for Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology.

Admission in IIST is granted on the basis of JEE Advanced rank.

Eligibility criteria :-

-The candidate must be an Indian.

-The candidate should have passed 12th with at least 70% marks (60% for SC, ST, PwD) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects.

-The candidate belonging to open category must have born on or after October 1, 1991 and SC/ST/PwD candidate should have born on or after October 1, 1986 .
