Eligibility to appear in AIIMS MBBS entrance exam for GSEB student?


Sir,
I am Harish from Ahmedabad. I am from GSEB Board and I want to do MBBS in AIIMS. Please help me to know that I am eligible or not for giving AIIMS MBBS entrance exam? Thank you in advance.

Yes, you are eligible for AIIMS entrance exam.

Candidates who have completed 12th standard with above 50% marks are eligible for AIIMS exam but your 12th standard subject are Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. For SC/ST candidates this percentage is reduced to 40%.

Your age should be in between 17 to 26 years.

Eligibility requirements;

> Candidate must have cleared their +2 level of examination with Science(Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English as their compulsory subject.

> Candidate about to clear their boards are also eligible to apply.

> Candidate should have scored a minimum of 60% in aggregate, however it varies from Institutes to Institutes.

> Candidate's minimum age should not below 17 years.

Eligibility criteria to appear in Medical Entrance Exam for AIIMS:

A candidate must have done 12th with medical stream with at least 50% marks and 45% for reserved categories from recognized board.

Age limit 17-25 years and relaxation is given to reserved categories in upper age limit as per rules.

AIIMS stands for All India Institute of Medical Science and these are the best government medical colleges for the MBBS course in India.

For pursuing the MBBS course from the same one needs to clear AIIMS MBBS Entrance examination for which one needs to satisfy the criteria given below :-

* You must have the nationality of India with your age lying within 17 years to 25 years by the 31st December of same year in which you are appearing in the same examination. Further relaxation upto 5 years are provided to reserved category.

* You must have either completed your higher secondary degree or must be in the final year of same with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as your main subjects with a minimum of 60% aggregate from a recognized board of education. Further marks relaxation upto 10% are granted to reserved category candidates.

So being GSEB student which is recognized board of education you are eligible for appearing in the same examination if you satisfy the above mentioned criteria.

To appear for the medical Entrance exam for the AIIMS you need to fulfil the eligibility criteria;

A candidates must have done 12th from recognised board with medical stream.

Minimum percentage required is 50% and 45% for reserved categories.

Age limit should be 17-25 years.

Eligibility to appear in AIIMS MBBS entrance exam for GSEB student :
  • Age of candidate must be above 17 years.
  • Candidate must have passed 12th class with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects from any recognised board.
  • Candidate must have secured more than 60% marks in 12th and there is relaxation of 10% marks for SC/St candidates.

What is percentile to appear in aiims entrance test?

If a student of gseb of general category gets an aggregate of 45% marks in pcb, he/she is unable to give neet exam, so can he/she can give an improvement exam of gseb so that he/she can give neet??
