I am looking for admission under B category in Vasavi College of Engineering, Hyderabad for my son.He has got 928 over all and 561 in PCM in IPE. As his tentative rank in EAMCET would be around 16000, he will not get the same through convenor quota. Please notify the date for application for b category seat. His branch of interest is Mechanical or EEE. Being a govt. servant I am not in a position to afford donations/ capitation fee other than the fee prescribed for b category seat by govt. of AP. Please guide. Thank you.

i want to know the information regarding IAS exam-2011 in which i want to ask that when this exam will be conducted on 2011 and from where i can get forms regarding IAS entrance exam

try to get admitted through some known source.if it will not work then make a gap of one year so that he again applyfor EMACETand improve his rank.make a fresh apply for convener quota

I can realise your problem.At VCE,the admission to the B.E. course, under “Category A” seats, is through a State-Level Entrance Test called "Engineering, Agricultural Sciences and Medical Common Entrance Test" (EAMCET), conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
75% of the seats under “Category A” are filled by the Convener of EAMCET based on the rank secured in EAMCET and as per the rules of reservation in force.
25% of the seats under “Category B” are filled by the Management based on the guidelines issued by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh from time to time.
Fees for B-category is around Rs 91700 per annum.
