Sorry, now there is no such examination as AIEEE. Now JEE examination is conducted for admission of candidates in B.tech/B.E courses in various institutes.
But, being diploma degree holder you are not eligible to appear for JEE examination. But, if you are interested in pursuing b.tech/b.e course you can appear for LEET examination and after qualifying in examination eligible for admission in 2nd year of b.tech course. |

AIEEE stands for All India Engineering Entrance Examination. In 2013, the CBSE Board which conducts AIEEE examination has replaced it with JEE Main examination. At present, the AIEEE examination is conducted with the name of JEE Main examination.
JEE Main is a National level entrance examination which is conducted by CBSE Board for offering admissions to interested candidates in engineering programmes at NITs, IIITs and other CFTIs. Candidates who have passed 12th standard or equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry subjects from a Government recognised board are eligible to appear in JEE Main examination. Diploma holders are also eligible to appear in JEE Main examination but, their examination rank will not be declared and they are not considered to apply for admission in NITs through lateral entry admission process. They are allowed to appear in JEE Main examination only because, it is considered as an entrance to appear in JEE Advanced examination. By qualifying and securing good rank in JEE Advanced examination, you can apply for admission in IITs. |
