Is my 5 years old non creamy layer certificate valid for UPSC exam?

I have received non creamy OBC certificate in Mysore on 2013. There is a mentioning of validity till 5 years i.e till 2018 June. Can I apply for UPSC based on this or else I have to renew it? In central on my caste has been mentioned but there is mentioning of rural? Kindly, give some light on this.

You can surely use it till 2018 as the date has been mentioned, you can surely use it now but do get it renewed and updated as soon as the time comes or it can be invalid.

This year probably you will not be facing any issue but in the concluding year if not renewed you might face issues., so get it done at the earliest.
