Eligibility to apply for UPSC IAS exam for a candidate with 49% in 12th?
Hello everyone, I have completed my 12th and I have scored 49% marks in it. My aim is to become an IAS Officer. So, with this percentage of marks in 12th standard I am eligible to apply for UPSC IAS exam?

The eligibility criteria for Union Public Service Commission IAS exam:
1. The general requirement is bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university. Final year graduation candidates can also apply for exam. Your percentage of marks in 12th does not matter for this exam. You can apply for civil services examination with 49% marks in 12th board exam. 2. The minimum age required to apply for exam is 21 years. |

The minimum academic qualification required for Indian Administrative Services examination is graduation. Civil Services examination is a prestigious and one of the toughest examination of India.
You can apply for UPSC IAS exam if you have 49% marks in 12th. You can apply only after bachelor's degree. |
