I want to write NETSET exam this year. what the next date to submit the Netset exam form?

Date of UGC NET examination: 26th June 2011

Date of UGC NET Notification : 30.03.2011

i) Last date for Applying On-Line 25th April 2011


ii) Last date for receiving the documents* at the test center: 2-5-2011

NET exam conduct two time in a year June and December. Notification
announce in month of April and October.
The exam which held in the month of june has been over. For next exam
You can fill the form online in october month, after that you can give the exam of NET in month of December.

Eligibility:- Post graduate with 55% in any subject.

Age:- There is no upper age limit for lecturership . for JRf - maximum 28 year.

Eligibility criteria:

Candidates should have a Masters degree with atleast 55% aggregate marks (50% for
ST/ST/PH/VH).
Final year students can also apply .
There is no upper age limit.

Important Dates :

Date of examination : Sunday, 7th AUGUST 2011
Online Form Submission Starts : 9th MAY, 2011 (From 11.00 a.m.)
Last Date of Online submission: 31st MAY, 2011 (to 6.00 p.m.)
Last Date of Hard Copy Submission : 6th June 2011 (6.00 p.m.)

NET Stands for National Eligiblity Test
SET Stands for State Eligiblity Test.

And To apply for Both these examinations, You need to complete your Post Graduate course, because only Master degree candidates are eligible to apply for NET/SET Examinations.

But if you have scored minimum 55% marks in your Post graduate examination only then you are eligible to apply for These examinations, Final year post graduate candidates are also apply for NET/SET Examination.

NET Examination was conducted by UGC 2 Times in a Year. First in june and next in december, June examination was already completed and if you are fulfill the eligibility criteria, then you are eligible to apply for December NET Examination, the notification of December examination was not declared yet, So please wait for few months, then the notification was announced and also updated in the UGC website.

SET Examination was held every year, But you cant apply for SET Examination because the Last date of apply for SET Examination was Over and the last date of apply for SET Examination was 31st May 2011. So please apply for SET Examination next time, But you are apply for NET Examination.

To apply for NET/SET Examination, You have to complete your Post Graduate degree course from a recognised University and General/OBC Candidates must have to scored minimum 55% marks in his Post Graduate degree course, the 50 Percentage relaxation is only applicable for SC/ST/PH/VH Category Candidates.

Other Backward Classes (Non-creamy layer) Candidates will get relaxation only in NET Fees, The application form fees of NET for OBC candidates is Rs 225 and you have to pay the fees through Challan form in SBI Bank and then you are eligible to fill Online application form.

But you are Not eligible for NET Examination because you have scored less than 55% marks in your Post graduation.

For this year Both June and December NET Examination was already completed and Those who have missed the chance in this year may fill the NET Application form Online in Next year in the month of April 2012. If you need more information then please check official website :
