Can you tell me the Procedure of getting admission in BAMS?

Dear friend

To take admisison in BAMS course you have to clear the Entrance exam for BAMS.
Different university has own Entrance exam for BAMS.

BAMS course will be offered at the following Institution in uttar Pradesh:

1. Aligarh Unani &ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital & CAN Hospital, Aligarh
2.S.G.M. Ayurvedic/Unani Medical College & Hospital & P.G. Research centre Saheri, distt. Ghazipur
3.Sri sai Ayurvedic Medical P.G. College & Hospital, Sarsol, G.T. Road, Aligarh
4.Vaidya Yagya Dutt Sharma Ayurveda P.G. Mahavidyalaya, Khurja (Bulandshaher)
5.J.D. Ayurvedic Medical college & Hospital, Bhankari, G.T. Road, Aligarh
6.Major S.D. Singh Ayurvedic College Hospital & Research Centre
7.Bakson Homoeopathic Medical College, Greater Noida

To take admisison in these colleges you have to appear for the Entrance exam CPMEE 2011.
Entrance exam will be held on 2nd week of july,2011.

Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery

Eligibility Criteria:

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION :

Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with PCB with atleast 50% aggregate.
Those who are appearing for class 12th exams in 2011 can also apply.

AGE LIMIT:

One should have attained the age of 17 years to appear for exam

Procedure to fill take admission :

Forms are available at National Institute of Ayurveda and designated branches of Bank
of Rajasthan.

Candidates can also obtain the form by sending a request for the form along with a
demand draft.

You can also apply online.

The date is yet to be announced .

You need to appear for the Medical entrance examination. You need to have a PCM of 50%.The other procedures are similar to that of Medical entrance examination.
The colleges that offer BAMS select candidates from the Medical entrance rank list. The duration of this course is 5 years.
