Hello the Civil service examination
which is conducted by UPSC has a particular examination code I'll try to tell you the maximum of it which covers your query that is age eligibility criteria too.

Civil Service examination for the posts like IAS/IPS/IFS etc.,

This examination is conducted by UPSC .UPSC conducts this examination every year. for a particular no. of posts.
All the civil services has a single common test called civil services

Educational qualifications required to get enrolled for this examination are :-


Only a Simple degree in any trade is enough for applying the civil service examination.
The Degree which is obtained is to be from a recognized Indian University.
The trade in which you do degree doesn't carry any interest to the UPSC Authorities I mean to say that you are eligible from any background of your degree.

Required Age Criteria for this examination are as follows:-


->The candidate who wish to appear in the civil service examination must have minimum of 21 years of age.
->The candidate must not exceed 30 years of age .
in the case of general category students 30 years is the upper age limit.
in the case of OBC 33 years will be the max age limit as you will get 3 years of relaxation.
in the case of SC/ST Applicant 35 years will be the max age limit as we will get 5 years of relaxation.

This is all about Age criteria.

There is no need to concentrate on any subject specially in order to attempt Civil service exam.
as you will concentrate on science if you want to appear in IIT JEE.
you will concentrate on Commerce and Accounts if you want to do CA Course
in that way there is nothing too special for Civil service exam.

all subjects are equally important for this. So concentrate on every subject.

There are many kind of jobs which come under UPSC, like SCRA,CSE,PSC.So you should mention what kind of job you want, anyway I am giving you some idea.
Age limit for SCRA is 16-21.
Age limit for CSE,PSC is 21-30(5 year relaxation for SC/ST 3 year for OBC)

UPSC is a regulatory body which conducts various examinations including civil service examination, engineering service examination, combined defense service exam etc.
Assuming that you want to know about the civil service examination, the eligibility criteria is as follows:
You must be a graduate in any discipline.
You must have attained the age of 21 years.
You must not be over 30 years if you belong to general category, 33 years if you belong to OBC category and 35 years if you belong to SC/ST category.

The civil service examination comprise of two written examination and an interview.
To successfully qualify the written examinations, you must have a strong knowledge in the field of general studies, essay writing, English language, general mathematics and aptitude test.

•-> 21 to 30 year is the age limit for graduates.

•-> 16.5 - 19 year for NDA Aspirants.

•-> 18-28 for 12th pass candidates (Clerk Jobs).

So many exam are included in UPSC like IFS,IAS,IES,NDA etc.

Those are graduate are applicable for civil service exam.

But your age should be between 21 to 30 years.

Age relaxation is provide 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidate.

So your age can't over 35 years.
