There is no age limit to apply for NET-LS i.e. NET for lecturership. You are eligible to apply & the forms for csir-ugc net are already out.

To apply for UGC NET Examination, you have to scored at least 55% marks in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities recognised by UGC in Humanities and Social Sciences, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science, then you are eligible for this Test.

Final year Master degree candidates are also eligible to apply for UGC NET examination. The UGC-NET to be held on 26th June, 2011. So, if you have not apply for this exam and intrested to apply for this examination, then please visit the official website and fill application form soon.

The NET exam is held for the Asst professor post in any colleges. So for appearing for the NET exam you need at least 55% in master degree from any recognized university.
There is no upper age limit for the lectureship. So you can apply whenever you wish.

After Masters degree , you are eligible for NET exam but your degree must be from UGC approved university.

Those candidate have completd masters degree from recogniged university are eligible for NET exam.

For general and OBC candidate must be hold 55%above in masters degree. SC/ST candidate must be hold 50% above in masters degree.

Part time course are not eligible for NET exam.

For Junior research fellowship course your age must be in between 19 to 28 years.

For lectureship ,There is no upper age limit but the Minimum age is 19 years.

NET exam is conduct because of govt college lecturer and PHD entrance.
