hai sir,
My name is dinesh. iam finalyear b.sc. it student. iam doing in distance. i want become a software engineer so now what i hv to do for this. My frd was told"you don't get software job because you are doing bsc in distance eductaion". is it correct or not. please tell me can i get software job.....

You can do software job , but it will not be regular salary basis instead it will be of contract basis type . Means you have to make the programme code for a given work. This can be obtained from company's website or you can take this one from a regular employee. Regular employee of a company do offer such type of contract work. But friend they are just to satisfy yourself but it sure that after getting in this you will get much programming experience and this experience is much more than a normal degree. After this you can open a consultancy which has its spacialised area of programming.

it does not matter that you have done b.sc from distance mode many of the students do htat what really matters is that if you want to go for the software job then you shoule be an expert in computers. you should know C, C++, JAVA, .NET, VB.NET and all other things

Yes you can get job whether you have done your degree from distance learning.
It totally depends on you, if you have good skill about the software jobs then you can get good jobs.
If you have good programming skill in c,c++,java, .net,php, etc... along with good communication skill then distance learning doesn't matter for getting a software jobs.

Software jobs is reputated companies is not possible only through Bsc,...you need to do atleast Msc...and try for walk in interviews as they are not going to come as on campus to BSc colleges....

It is generally assumed that BTech guys are technically more fit. As you have done distance BSc so there a comes one more lagging point ie distance education.
This problem can be overcome if you go for higher studies.
You should now do MSc(IT) from some AICTE approved university in regular mode.
Then you could have chances that one gets after B Tech.
After that you can easily get a job.

yes you may do software job. if you have proper knowledge to do the software job distance education will not create any problem. prove your ability to do work with software and join in a very reputed company. you will satisfy with your job obviously.

yes there is jobs for bsc holder in the software company but you will not get that much salary that think,better do msc or b.tech then surely you will get the good place in the software world.log on to the

Most of the software firms conduct test to know whether you have the programming skills. If you perform well in these test then distance education is not a problem. But since have a BSc degree you salary package will not be the same as BTech. You will need to prove yourself in the organisation. It would be advisable to pursue higher studies and then apply for job.

its not possible to get into these compnies through distance edu.
plz confirm first themn mail.

yes you may get software job according to your knowledge.
this will not create any problem for getting job as you have done graduation from distance education.
salary may differ from other those are regular candidate.but opportunity will be same based on your performance.

hello... m pursuing my BSC(IT) from KUVEMPU UNIVERSITY via NIIT.... m doing GNIIT(higher DIPLOMA IN SOFTWARE ENGG) also.... Will it affect me anyway in getting a job.?

Hi frens, i am about to complet Msc Cs form smu (distance mode of education). Well i am a little tensed as my graduation is off campus distance mode in Bsc It. I want to buil my career well enough... so should i opt for Msc in network and management /Mtech from Amity University.... What would be right .. please advice.....

i am doing BSC-IT in globalopen university distance mode,java in hyderbad.can i get a software job.

firstly complete your BSC and after completing BSC you select a diploma courses in software like java, vb.net, A level course these diploma course helps you to finding jobs in softwares companies this is my opinion to you dinesh.

It depends on, if you d BSc in computers then it's easier for you to go for software field you can even do other courses of software from your nearest institute and then you will be thorough and you can easily join the software companies. When You are in final year you can start registering your resume in the job sites and keep updating it then you will get easily interview calls. You need to prepare for technical written test and then if you clear it then you have HR round and they will offer you job.

Dear Aspirant,

Yes you can do the Bsc the degree in distance without any problem if you are aiming for jobs in the small company.

But if you are aiming for the companys in the higher reputation like the Mnc's then better go for the regular education.

Since they mostly prefer the students who have done their education in the regular basis.

Because the rules of the mncs are different from the other small and large companys.

But if you have a certification from any software or tool from a recognized company.Then the mncs can hire you or else it is a risky step.

So i would suggest you to take the regular education instead of a distance education.
