Information Regarding IIT JEE Entrance Examination.

IIT JEE is the most famous engineering entrance examination of India. Every student wants to crack it. Every year a large number of candidates appear in this exam to test their fate but seat is limited so competition become really hard. To appear in the IIT JEE entrance examination you need the following eligibility criteria.

Educational Qualification = Pass 12th class with PCM with at least 60% aggregate marks. The 12th board exam appearing student are also eligible to apply for the IIT JEE entrance examination.

NOTE :- There are only two attempt allowed in the IIT JEE entrance examination. For example : If you pass the 12th examination in the year 2011 then you are eligible for IIT JEE in the year 2011 and in 2012 but you are not eligible in the year 2013.

As per your question after completing 10th you are not eligible for the IIT JEE entrance examination. You need pass 12th exam to appear in the IIT JEE entrance examination. So, i advise you to first do 12th class then you can appear in the IIT JEE entrance examination. You can appear in the IIT JEE in the appearing of 12th examination.

Dear Friend

Only two attempts are allowed for IIT-JEE.

First time you can appear the IIT-JEE in the year when you
would be appearing for 12th board exam.
The 2nd time you can appear IIT-JEE in the year just after
your first attempt.
If you don't apply for IIT-JEE in the year just after first
attempt then your 2nd attempt will be lapse.

e.g., If someone passes 10th board in 2011.
He/she takes admission in 11th in 2011 then he/she would
be appearing for 12th board exam in the year 2013.
This candidate can apply for JEE-2013 and JEE-2014.
The application process for JEE-2013 shall start in the
OCT-NOV 2012 and application process for JEE-2014 shall
start in the OCT-NOV 2013.

The month of starting of application process is indicative
based on previous year trends. It may/may not chang in the
coming years.

Eligibility for IIT-JEE :-

1.The candidate must have passed their 10+2 examinations from a recognized board with physics ,chem and math.

2. You must score 60% above in 12 th.

You can apply for IIT-JEE in twice time .

The twice time attempts must be continuously means if you can apply in 2011 then you must apply in 2012 .

You can't applicable in 2013.

Hello friend,
To write the joint entrance examination conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology, you should have qualified +2 level of examination.
The maximum age limit to apply for the exam is 25 years for candidates belonging to general category and 30 years for candidates belonging to Sc/St category.
You may appear for the exam only in the next two consecutive years after the year of qualifying the +2 level of examination.

To Crack IIT-JEE

In order to appear for IIT-JEE you need to fulfill the following conditions :-

1) You should have 60% aggregate or above in PCM in your 12th boards

2) You are eligible to give the exam only twice..once in the year you pass your 12th board exam and in the next consecutive year..

So,right now you are not eligible for appearing for IIT-JEE..you can give the exam after passing your 12th..

You can start your preparations from now onward..
it would be better if you join a 2 year coaching program right now for cracking the IIT-JEE..

else..if you don't want to take coaching then you can buy the study material of a prominent coaching institute like Brilliant Tutorials

Other than those books you can refer to the following books for higher preparations :-
1) M.L.Khanna for Maths
2) P.Bahadur for Chemistry
3) Concepts of Physics
4) TMH Past 25 years solved papers for IIT-JEE

Your chance to give IITJEE starts with the 12th class.Your first attempt is counted alongwith 12th class and other after one year.That means you only have 2 chances to hit the BULLS EYE.

Dear IIT-JEE aspirant,

There is no relation with Class 10 to IIT-JEE in the aspect of Eligibility.

According to IIT-JEE,
A candidate can give IIT-JEE exam only two times consecutively i.e. if he misses second chance, he could not give IIT-JEE in the future.
Since, you are passing 10th, then don't worry you are having your two chances in safe mode.

IIT-JEE stands for Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Exam.
As the name says,the exam is for admission in IITs.
It is conducted once in a year in the month of April.
You are eligible to appear in IIT-JEE if:-
1.You have passed your 12th with your subjects as PCM.
2.You should have 60% in your 12th.
3.You can appear in it if you have appeared in your 12th exam and are waiting for your result.
The maximum number of attempts in IIT-JEE is two consecutive times including the year of your 12th board exam.
Suppose,you appeared in your 12th exam in 2012,then you can appear in 2012 exam and next year 2013 exam.
You can't take a gap of one more year and appear in 2014 exam.
You can't just appear in IIT-JEE after your 10th exam.
You will have to first appear in 12th board exams.

hi dear,
first of all for eligible in IIT-JEE you must a non medical student in 12th class.
You must score 60% in 12th class.
For crack IIT-JEE ,student have only 2 chance now.Student can appear in exam when he/she in 12th class and one chance after 12th class without 2 year gap.Means if you done your 12th class in 2011 then you can give exam in 2011 or in 2012 but not in 2013.

Hi friend
You are eligible for appearing in the iitjee exam as the authorities have not mentioned any eligibility rule which involve class 10 or before. The important thing is that you have only 2 attempts, one in which you appear for your 12th boards and the next year.

Friend after passing 10th you are not eligible for I.I.T-J.E.E exam.
You have only 2 attempts one with appearing 12th board exam and other is in next year.

ELIGIBILITY FOR I.I.T-J.E.E EXAM:-
> Pass 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Maths minimum 50% marks from recognized University or Board.
For ST/SC candidate minimum 55% marks is require.
> The age limit for exam is 17-25 year.
> Maximum number of attempts is 2.
> The candidate must be citizen of India.

when you are in class 10,you cant write the IITJEE exam .first you need to qualify class 12th and then write the exam of IITJEE ,now called as JEE(advanced).By the way you are eligible for attempting it for a maximum of 2 times after passing 12th.

i passed class 10th in 2010 nd joined class iith in 2012....am i eligible to give jee advanced 2014 ???
