You are not eligible for any govt. Bank clerk job because you have to complete some criteria write as follows,


*Minimum age for IBPS & SBI & Other regional bank clerk.
1. For General Category 60% or more than in 12th with any stream or equalant to Gratuate in any decipline with Recognised university.
2. For ST/SC/PWD/EX-SERVICEMAN/OBC Category minimum 55or more than in 12th with any stream or equalant to Gratuate in any decipline with Recognised university.
Age Factor
For General 18-28 years,
For obc 18-31 years,
For st, sc, pwd 18-33 years,

No, you are no eligible to apply for bank Clerical Exam generally conducted by SBI & IBPS(Institute of Banking Personal Selection) for 19 Public sector banks.

The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having completed 12th with 50% marks in any stream from a recognised Board or having completed Graduation degree in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 18 to 28 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate.

The candidate having completed 10th with 60% marks is eligible for IBPS clerical exam.

Hence if you met the above eligibility criteria then you are eligible to apply for the same.

Some private bank may accept you for clerical position in their bank depending upon your experience and ability, you may try for that.

BANK PO exams are conducted by IBPS for 20 Government banks

There is one Common written tests on behalf of 20 Government banks and IBPS conducts this.

SBI is not Part of IBPS and conducts its own PO exams

Eligibilty for the IBPS PO:
Min educational qualifications is Graduation Pass
Final year Graduation students cannot apply
Age should be between 20 and 30 years
OBC gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations

Questions will be asked from the below sections in the IBPS PO Exams:
Quantitative Aptitude
Reasoning
General Awareness with special reference to Banking Industry
Computer Knowledge
English Language
Descriptive Paper on English Composition

The minimum 50% is required to get a job to any bank. So you can not fill forms clerk position of any bank being a candidate having secured 44% in 12th class.

The eligible candidate aspiring for SBI/IBPS Clerical Exam, must be an Indian Citizen having completed 12th with 50% marks in any stream from a recognised Board or having completed Graduation Degree in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 18 to 28 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate.

Besides this the candidate having completed 10th with 60% marks is also eligible for IBPS clerical exam.

So with 44% in 12th it is not possible for you to apply for SBI/IBPS clerical exam

I am afraid you can not apply for the Bank Clerk exam. You should have a graduation degree to apply for Clerk exam. Earlier 12th standard pass candidates were allowed to appear for IBPS Clerk exam however now the requirement has been changed to graduation degree.

It was done on the request of participating banks. There are 19 Public Sector Banks that participates in the exams by Institute of Banking Personnel Services. Other noted banks like State Bank of India also need candidate to have graduation degree to apply.

Therefore you must continue with the studies and complete graduation. It could be any graduation course. Completing it would mean that you will be eligible for the IBPS Clerk exam.


IBPS Clerk Eligibility

1. Nationality: Indian

2. Qualification: A bachelor degree in any discipline.

3. Marks: There is no criteria.

4. You will also need to have diploma/degree in Computers. Else Computers/IT should be a subject in 12th or college.

5. The age limit is 20 to 28 years to appear for the exam.

6. There is 3 years relaxation for OBC in upper age limit.

7. Five years relaxation is given to SC/ST.

8. PWD can claim 10 years relaxation under the govt rules.
