The syllabus for the Clerk exam will involve different sections. It will involve two main sections such as Logical Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude etc. It will also involve questions from areas such as Language and comprehension, General awareness, Computer knowledge etc. There will also be a descriptive type paper. There will be negative marking in the examination. The time duration will be around 150 minutes.

SIB : It is also called as South Indian Bank The syllabus for the Clerk exam will involve different sections. There will be negative marking in the examination. The time duration will be around 150 minutes. Recruitment by South Indian Bank: Name of the Vacancy: Probationary Clerks Number of Vacancies: 400 Duration: – The period of probation is for six months and confirmation shall be made subject to the satisfactory performance of the candidates. After two years of active service,You become eligible for promotion direct to the Officer Cadre. Pay Scale: The pay scale of Rs.7200-19300. At present, the total starting emoluments would be Rs.15000 per month inclusive of HRA and DA, convenyance allowance, etc… at the current rate. Eligibility requirements: Educational qualification: You must possess graduation from a recognized university and must have completed a regular 10+2+3 course securing not less than 50% of marks in science stream or 45% of marks in any other stream of education. You should be proficient in computer operations. Age: Upper age limit is 26 years and lower age limit is 20 years as on 30th of September 2011. Upper age relaxation of five years is applicable for SC/ST candidates. Selection Procedure: Selection of candidates will be based on written test and interview. The written test is likely to be held in the cities of Coimbatore, Chennai, Kozhikode, Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam and Thrissur. The tentative date of written test is 29th of January 2012. Cost of application: You will have to pay an application fee of Rs.250 (general), Rs.50 (SC/ST) through the challan form that can be downloaded after successful submission of online application. The fee should be paid only through the branches of SIB. Payment of application fee can be done at any time after two hours from the completion of online registration.
