To join CBI you need to appear for CGPE exam i.e. Combined Graduate preliminary Exam which is conducted by SSC board every year.

Those candidate are graduate from any recognized university with any discipline are eligible for CBI exam.(Criminology)

But your age should be in between 20 to 27 years old.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC category as per govt rule.

The maximum attempts for SC/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years.

Also you must be in citizen in India.

For getting into CBI (CENTRAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION) , you have to appear for CGPE Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam conducted by SSC evry year.

The eligiblity criteria is :-
~> AGE :20 to 27 years
~> Graduate in any discipline.
~> Attempts for SC/ST Unlimited, for OBC 7 years and for Gen only 5 years.

If you want to join CBI then you will have to give IPS exam and become an IPS offcer. from there you can go to CBI but that will be totally depends on your performance.second at the level of sub inspector of CBI for which you have to appear exam conducted by Staff Selection commission.

The minimum eligibility to appear in this test is to have a bachelor's degree from a recognized university and the candidate's age must not exceed 25 years.
