Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is the prime band career of telecomm and internet in India. Commissioned in the year 2000, this organization has taken over the responsibilities of the Dept. of Telecomm Services (DTS) and Dept of Telecomm Operations (DTO). BSNL is presently one of the largest public sector entity with a vast network of telecom services in India.

BSNL JTO Exam Pattern

To strengthen its workforce, BSNL is inviting applications for various positions at regular interval for various cadres of operation. The details of a few current vacancies and the detailed application procedure are mentioned as under:

Name of the posts advertised for: Deputy General Manager (Telecomm Operation and Finance)

Number of job vacancies: 106 positions for Telecomm Operations and 56 positions in Finance

Pay compensation Packages:

The applicants being selected for the positions of DGMs in BSNL will be entitled to receive remunerations in the scale of INR 32900 – INR 58000 with 3% increment annually over the basic pay and other perks as well as allowances as per the service rules of BSNL.

Academic Essentials:

•DGM (Telecomm Operations): Must be a first class BE/ BTech Degree holder in Electrical, IT, Computer Sc., Electronics and Communication, and Computers. (This is 55% for SC and ST category of candidates)
•DGM (Finance): The applicant must be a Chartered Accountant/ Company Secretary or ICWA to be eligible for consideration

BSNL Admit Card

Experience:

The applicants must have at least 12 years of experience after completion of their qualification in the concerned fields along with prescribed norms of the experience detailed as described on www.bsnl.co.in

Age factor:

The candidates applying for such positions must not have attained the max age of 45 years as on 1st of August 2012. However, there will be relaxation in this norm as per the rules for privileged categories of candidature (ST, SC and OBC)

•No other modes of application will however be entertained

Important dates to reckon for:

•Starting date for online registration: 1st of October 2012
•End date for online registration: 17th of October 2012

Application fees:
The interested applicants must remit an application fee of INR 1500 (INR 750 for ST, SC, OBC) through DD or Pay order in favor of Accounts Officer (Cash) of BSNL at New Delhi.
