KAS stands for Karnataka Administrative Service.

This exam conducted by the KPSC(Karnataka Public Service Commission) once in a year.[/U]

Eligibility criteria:-

Applicant should have to complete graduation in any stream from a recognised university.

Final year graduates are alre eligible.

You must be an Indian origin.

Percentage is not important to apply this examination.

Age criteria:-

The age limits are 21 years to 35 years,

3 years upper age relaxation for OBC category candidates,

5 years upper age relaxation for SC/ST category candidates.


Selection process:-

Preliminary exam,

Mains exam,

Personal interview.


Syllabus for Preliminary examination:-

Paper-I:-

Part-I:- National/ International/ Current Affairs.

Part-II:- Humanities/ Arts / Histories.


Paper-II:-

Part-I:- General Knowledge/ Karnataka State Current Affairs,

Part-II:- Science and Technology, Environment and Ecology / General Mental Ability.
