Dear sir, I have passed 10th standard and I want to join indian army but I have teeth infection. Now can I join indian army?

To join in Indian Army and showing interest in it is good and you are showing your zel to serve your country by opting Indian army as you have so many carrier options,but joining in Indian Army is not possible now with your minimum qualifications.

The reason behind it is that you don't satisfy the needed eligibility criteria.The thing which you lack is the education qualification needed for the exam.

As asked what you need to study for joining in Indian Army at 11th is that you just need to complete your +2 after +1 as for joining in Indian Army you need to have completed +2 from a recognized university with a fair percentage as it is needed as per the education qualification.

For joining in Indian Army you need to write the entrance exam as it is the procedure to join in defence force as Indian Army is one of the defence force.

The minimum qualification needed for joining in Indian Army is that you need to have completed +2 for applying for NDA Exam

This is a defence service exam which is conducted by UPSC for candidates to join in defence forces of India.

So,finish your +2 with other qualification needed for the exam and then apply for the exam.

You can not go to Indian Army after clearing the 10th exam as the minimum eligibility criteria to get into Indian Army is 12th class pass. If you still go for the recruitment with this qualification all you will get is the low rank post such as barber, Washer man cook cobbler etc.

If you want to go into some officer level post then you must wait for two more years and after that you can go for NDA. NDA stands for National defence Academy and if you get into it then after few years of study and training you will be graduated from NDA with a lieutenant post in hand.

Eligibility :-

12th class pass is a must
For army all subject candidate are eligible
For Air force and Navy only Physics with maths is entitled to get the job
For Army any stream candidate can give exam.
Only Unmarried candidate are eligible
only male candidate are eligible

After 10th standard you can join Indian Army as a soldier, the selection of which is generally conducted in all State recruiting office from time to time.

But after 12th you should apply for NDA(National Defence Academy) to join Indian Army as an Officer.

NDA entrance exam conducted by UPSC twice every year for an entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian Male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental Fitness.

For 10th pass there is only one post in Indian Army which is General Duty Soldier.

So if you are interested in above post then you can apply for it or if you are not interested then you have to study further.

For General Duty Soldier post Matric pass students are eligible and your age should be between 17.5 to 21 years for this post. The selection will be based on the written examination and physical fitness test.

If you are aiming for Officers post then you have to complete 10+2 and then apply for NDA examination.

Your age must be between 16.5 to 19 years if you want to apply for NDA exam after 10+2.Only unmarried male are eligible to apply.

The selection will be based on the performance in the written exam, SSB and Medical Examination.

Sorry to say that you cannot join Indian Army at present time.

First of all, I would like to tell you that to join Indian Army, you will have to appear for NDA examination.

NDA examination is conducted twice every year in June and December by UPSC.

NDA is conducted for these three posts is mentioned as below:-

* Indian Air Force.

* Indian Army.

* Indian Navy.

The eligibility criteria required for NDA examination are prescribed as below:-

* Completion of 12th with PCM for Air Force/Navy and Commerce for Army from any approved board.

* Age limit- 16.5-19 yrs.

* Sex- Male.

* Marital status- Unmarried.

For joining Indian Army you need to have atleast 10+2
you can't join Indian army after 10th, ( in your case you are not even 10th as you have failed in 10th)

You first need to complete your 10+2 and they appear for NDA

Following is the eligibility for appearing in NDA

- You should be Indian
- Your age should be between 16.5 to 19
- You should be physically fit and must pass all the medical test
- You should have completed +2 with any stream to appear in N.D.A. examination of army wing.
- You should have completed +2 with science to appear in Air force & Navy wing.

You need complete class 12 for joining the Indian Army. There are medical and physical standards to be met for joining the Indian Army. Candidate must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in the higher secondary examination and atleast, have 40% in Biology, Physics, Chemistry, English. During the time of admission, he should be 17 1/2 years and must not be over 23 years of age. After or during the +2 tenure, interested candidates need to write NDA Exam for the Army wing of National Defense Academy. Candidates willing to join Indian Army through NDA Exam do not need to have studied Mathematics in the higher secondary level. There will be a compulsory paper of Mathematics in the NDA Exam, conducted by Union Public Service Commission.

I am sorry to say that you are not eligible to make entry into Indian Army after completion of 10th class. The reason being the minimum academic qualification that is required for the candidates to join Indian Army is by completion of 12th class.

But then also i want to become an army man and as well as a raw agent as soon as possible . To Join Indian Army the lowest educational qualification is 12th. So first of all you need to complete 12th. You can also apply for indian army while studying in 12th.

For Indian army you need to apply for NDA exam. NDA exam is conducted by UPSC twice in a year named as NDA-I and NDA-II.

NDA exam is conducted for Indian Air Force, Navy and Army.
