NU Scholar Search Programme
NIIT University offers scholarship to meritorious students enrolled for its B.Tech course based on the academic records and entrance exam score. The scholarship is offered for the entire period of the course. But it is a must that the candidate should maintain a minimum of 7.5 CGPA during the entire course. The various scholarship plans offered are Merit Scholarship Plan A+, Merit Scholarship Plan A, Merit Scholarship Plan B+, Merit Scholarship Plan B and Merit Scholarship Plan C.
Eligibility criteria
Eligibility criteria for various Merit Scholarship Plans are mentioned below
- Merit Scholarship Plan A+ (MS-A+) - Students who have secured above 95% in 10th standard and above 90% in 12th standard
- Merit Scholarship Plan A (MS-A) - Students who have secured above 95% in 10th standard and above 85% in 12th standard or between 90-95% in 10th standard and 12th standard
- Merit Scholarship Plan B+ (MS-B+) - Students who have secured above 80% in 10th standard and above 90% in 12th standard, above 85% in 10th standard and 12th standard or above 90% in 10th standard and 80% in 12th standard
- Merit Scholarship Plan B (MS-B) - Students who have secured above 70% in 10th standard and above 90% in 12th standard, students who have secured above 80% in 10th standard and between 80-85% in 12th standard, students who have secured between 80-90% in 10th standard and above 80% in 12th standard and students who have secured above 90% in 10th standard and between 70- 80% in 12th standard
- Merit Scholarship Plan C (MS-C) - Students who have secured above 85% in 10th standard and between 60 - 70% in 12th standard, students who have secured above 80% in 10th standard and between 70 - 80% in 12th standard and students who have secured above 70% in 10th standard and between 80-90% in 12th standard
For candidates applying for the scholarship programme based on the various entrance exam score are mentioned below
- Students who are have secured ≤25,000 rank in JEE main, ≥300 in BITSAT, ≥2100 score in SAT and ≥80% in NUET will be eligible for MS-A plan.
- Students who are have secured >25,000 & ≤50,000 rank in JEE main, ≥275 in BITSAT, ≥2000 score in SAT and ≥75% in NUET will be eligible for MS-B+ plan.
- Students who are have secured >50,000 & ≤100,000 rank in JEE main, ≥250 in BITSAT, ≥1900 score in SAT and ≥70% in NUET will be eligible for MS-B plan.
- Students who are have secured >100,000 & <150,000 rank in JEE main, ≥225 in BITSAT, ≥1800 score in SAT and ≥60% in NUET will be eligible for MS-C plan.
Details on the various Merit Scholarship Plans
Merit Scholarship Plan A+ (MS-A+)
Students selected for MS-A+ will receive 100% scholarship on the university as well as hostel fees. They will also get an opportunity for assistantship. Under this the student will be eligible receive an additional Rs. 5000/- as assistantship if he/she is able to complete at least 40 hours of assigned assistantship in a month. The assistantship is available for a total of 40 months during the B.Tech course. If the student is unable to complete the assigned then he/she is not eligible to receive the assistantship amount.
Merit Scholarship Plan A (MS-A) - Students selected for MS-A will receive 100% scholarship on the university as well as hostel fees.
Merit Scholarship Plan B+ (MS-B+) - Students selected for MS-B+ will receive 75% scholarship on the university as well as hostel fees.
Merit Scholarship Plan B (MS-B) -Students selected for MS-B will receive 50% scholarship on the university as well as hostel fees.
Merit Scholarship Plan C (MS-C) -Students selected for MS-C will receive 25% scholarship on the university as well as hostel fees.
Since scholarships will be given on first cum first basis candidates should apply at the earliest.

i have score 76% in 10th standard and 70% in 12th standard so sir can i am eligible for any scholarship??
